It was well worth hauling the steaks and hamburger back to Dallas last summer. The quality and flavor cannot be beat. Thank you for shipping the prime rib for New Years. It came in great shape and our family and friends raved over the old fashion flavor and tenderness of the roast. We thought we ordered too much, but that didn't prove to be the case. Thanks.

My 85 year old husband thought he would never taste a steak again that tasted like they did years ago. Then for Christmas, our son and daughter in law who live in Gunnison gave us a gift of your fabulous meats. We are delighted to have once again rediscovered what "real" beef tastes like. The steaks we have eaten were tender and flavorful. The hamburger is outstanding. And this, after I just bought my husband his own meat grinder to try to make hamburger meat the way it used to be. Dear Sandy,

Thank you for shipping Mill Creek beef to us. It arrived in good shape, and was still frozen solid. We slow cooked the steaks over a lower flame like you recommended, and they cooked up tender and tasty. And, even though we were not big ground beef fans, I think we just became ones. Our burgers were delicious! In fact, the aroma of them cooking actually woke Mike up from his after-work nap and got him in the kitchen wondering what smelled so good for dinner! And the one pound pack was a perfect amount for the two of us.

Also wanted to mention that we shared some of the steaks with our neighbors, Rob and Leticia. She grew up in Colorado, still has family there, and visits them when she can, which is never often enough. She especially enjoyed having a "home grown" meal, it was very special to her.

Wanted you to know that we are hooked and plan to order more. Mike even bought a gas grill!
